Who we are
Board members include:
- Chairman, Dr Peter Bastable OAM, currently in private practice with experience in emergency medicine;
- Secretary, Pat Crompton (retired Chief Executive Officer with Mackay City Council);
- Dr Bert Sadleir (retired Director of Medical Services, Mackay - Queensland Health);
- Chris Wright (partner in a local accountancy firm Brown & Bird) and;
- Bill Cooper (Consulting Solicitor - Bill Cooper & Associates).
CQ Rescue Testing Services:
- The company employs a number of certified drug and alcohol Officers. Tests are conducted at the RACQ CQ Rescue building at Mackay Airport or on site to meet your organisation's requirements.
Staff & Crew:
- Pilots, air crewmen and rescue crew are on a rotational roster to cover 24 hour shifts, 7 days a week.
- A doctor is funded by the Queensland Government and the Queensland Ambulance Service provides a flight paramedic who is available to RACQ CQ Rescue 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- The RACQ CQ Rescue office is open for business between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday although staff regularly attends fundraising events, where possible, outside of these hours.
