CQ Rescue tasked to Hamilton Island

RACQ CQ Rescue helicopter was flown to Hamilton Island today at 6:25pm to retrieve a 64 year old female. The lady from New South Wales had serious stomach pains; she was assessed by the paramedic on board the CQ Rescue helicopter before being airlifted back to the Mackay Base Hospital where she will undergo further observation and treatment. The crew arrived back to Mackay at 9:00pm.
