serious medical condition Hayman Island

After returning from Dysart this afternoon the RACQ CQ Rescue crew were asked to carry out an aeromedical evacuation to  Hayman Island arriving at 8:25pm to retrieve a 23 year old male. The man had a serious medical condition and was airlifted back to Mackay Base Hospital arriving at 11:20pm. He was in a serious but stable condition.
