RACQ CQ REscue tasked to collect 3 year old girl from Hayman Island

 01st August 2010

RACQ CQ Rescue was tasked to Hayman Island for a 3year old girl. The Hayman Island nurse treated her for a serious abdominal complaint. She was in a stable condition and required assessment and treatment at the Mackay Base Hospital. >> Read more

Marine Envenomation makes for end of a busy day for RACQ CQ Rescue Chopper

 27th July 2010

As the crew arrived from 2 seperate missions from Dysart, they were advised of possible taskings to Moranbah and Brampton Island. The aircraft was again re-fuelled, the next crew on roster was called in and notification was received around 11pm for the crew to fly to Brampton Island where a holidaymaker from New South Wales was suffering from a suspected marine envenomation. >> Read more
