RACQ CQ RESCUE Helicopter Service
Update
During the 2006/07 financial year, the crew of RACQ CQ RESCUE carried out 391 missions and transported 114 more patients than the previous year.In order to complete these missions, they flew for 730.2 hours and traveled 57,880 nautical miles which is the equivalent to just over six flights from Sydney to London - that's a long way in a helicopter.
At $4,500 per hour flying time, we ask that you support our Annual Appeal during September.

The RACQ CQ RESCUE crew was tasked to search for an active beacon earlier today. Once in the air the EPIRB signal was tracked by the rescue crew to Proserpine.
