Quad bike accident

The RACQ CQ RESCUE helicopter has been tasked to a quad bike accident close to Teemburra Dam near Eungella.

 

The crew is expected to reach the site around 5.30pm. Early indications are the teenager has at least one fracture of the leg. Further examination by the helicopter crew on arrival will ascertain if the patient has also sustained spinal or head injuries in the accident.

 

It’s not known how the accident occurred at this stage.
