The essential purpose of RACQ CQ RESCUE is to reduce loss of life, to reduce the likelihood of permanent neurological or physical impairment as an outcome of acute illness or severe trauma, and to reduce the number of days which emergency patients need to spend in hospital.

The Airlie Beach foreshore came alive on Friday August 13th when FantaSea hosts its spectacular "Cracker Night".
RACQ CQ Rescue received all profits from this event which in included live music from Under The Radar, a bar and takeaway food stalls and great entertainment for the kids.
Our sincere thanks go the crew at Fantasea for helping raise the much needed funds that keep our lifesaving service operating.

On the return journey from Townsville to Mackay the RACQ CQRescue helicopter will be transporting a three week old baby and her mother back to Mackay Base Hospital.

RACQ CQ Rescue was tasked to Hayman Island for a 3year old girl. The Hayman Island nurse treated her for a serious abdominal complaint. She was in a stable condition and required assessment and treatment at the Mackay Base Hospital. >>
